Fairytales to scarytales?

Who remembers Little Red Riding Hood? You? Me? Him?

I think everyone knows Little Red Riding Hood. She was walking down the path with a basket full of delicious treats (Not her chest, you perverted bastards!) to her grandmother, but is stalked by the wolf. We've even got that joke where the wolf is trying to take a dump, but keeps getting interrupted by Little Red Riding Hood. We've got animations and a lot of other stuff...



And now.. It is going to be a movie...

The reason I put that picture there, is because.. If you know what I'm talking about, this is excactly the feeling you have.

I am not sure this is what the people who thought up the story about Little Red Riding Hood, had in mind..

Good... Now I'm not suffering alone..

This.. Movie.. Is going to be the biggest pile of dung seen, since the triceratops poo in Jurassic Park!

 That's a lot of doo-doo!

I really gotta ask.. How can you take a good old fashioned story like Little Red Riding Hood and fill it with some dinosaurcrap and think it makes a good movie? Let alone a good story?

Red is a chick in this village, there's a dude who she's arranged to marry, there's this dude she loves but can't get, there's a werewolf terrorizing the village.. WHAT THE HELL?! I see the Wolf.. Kinda... I see Red... Kinda... Where is the grandmother? And why is this a love story? WHY?! And why does it remind so much of Twi... Ooooh.. "From The Director of Twilight".. Well.. I guess this will appeal to the Twilight fans out there, and thus, becoming a box office smash hit! I'd rather watch "2001 - A Space Odyssey" in half speed before this! Why was it made?

Even the people in the IRC(Yes, I am old.. Shut up!) channel #Rainwave I frequent made a better story:
<Metal-Ridley> Anyway... I would ruin the fairy tale too... But I'd make something freaking epic! If you want to make a RRH horror flick, make her a badass gal kicking some monsters ass, -after- the fairy tale took place.
<SandoroSan> RRH tears the wolf into bloody shreds, kicks the Hunter in the Junk, and joins Van Helsing and Iron Man on an action-adventure monster murder spree!
