Wrestling.. What happened to you?

Okay.. It's 05:53 a. m. and I should be sleeping now. But I made a mistake.. A BIG mistake!

I went to my usual chatroom and stream, and I heard the host of the stream saying that he is confused by TNA. And now I'm going to confuse the readers by jumping back to monday.

I was in the said chatroom and stream, again.. And the people in the stream were skipping between Monday Night Football and WWE RAW, and since I am a Norwegian who knows diddly squat about football, and more about wrestling, the mentioning of Raw peaked my interest.

The day after, I had the chance to watch RAW. As I write this, I can't tell anything that Spoony hasn't said. Except, I didn't switch the channel (I couldn't) when the Trade Places match came on. And to be honest, I like Goldust, and I like Regal. While I was listening to the stream, I heard Rollo T say that William Regal just looks younger and younger. I have to say that this IS the case. I think he devours his young protegés.

So, to sum up RAW.. I was surprised to see how little wrestling there was on RAW, and how much talk there is on the show. It was actually a let down to me, since I used to love wrestling. I used to get so pumped up when I heard Chris Jericho's theme song blaring from the speakers, but now I just thought: "Do yourself a favor Chris, and quit". I don't mark out on anyone anymore. The quality of the matches has started to fall bit by bit, and the storylines feel recycled. I think they've started to go through the archives on storylines (yes, I am thinking about Kane and Undertaker).

So, I will leave Monday and come back to this morning.

I wish the chatroom didn't peak my interest to this, because I can still feel the pain from it. I've been lying one and a half hour thinking how to forget this monstrosity I just witnessed. Luckily, I didn't see the whole show. I only saw from Tommy's ass-kissing to Fourtune. I just shake my head at that. I can't believe I just typed in Fourtune. How many are they? Six? Anyways, got distracted by a random thought there. TNA Impact. Oh dear god! This is like sitting strapped to a chair while someone runs a dry sponge across a blackboard. Shivers just go down my spine. Why? Why did I watch this? I am not getting the hour I wasted on watching this unholy show back. I felt like Michael Cole when he was commenting in NXT (and yes, I watched that too. I gotta start knitting or something, because obviously wrestling is NOT healthy). I kept holding to my head and thinking "Stupid! Dumb! Stupid!!". But I have to say that the main event was not a bad match. Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Hardy. I actually enjoyed the match. Someone in the chatroom I frequent said he/she doesn't watch wrestling regularly, and already he/she could call what would happen. The person predicted that Anderson would interfere, making it a no contest. Almost correct, but Anderson didn't. Ref gets knocked out, gets replaced. After a long match, the unconscious ref wakes up and decides to do his job regardless of getting his ass replaced. And suddenly there are two referees, giving a split decision on the ending. Giving each wrestler the victory. That's when it got too much for me, and I turned it off! I could feel the rage boiling inside me. I wanted to maul something, to destroy the Robinson family.. Urr, no wait.. I just felt a fuse go. They took the most annoying trick in the book to ensure that the match in the next PPV will be triple threat!!

And the thing that surprises me the most is.. Spoony does this regularly! Well, almost regularly. How does he manage?! He deserves a medal! He deserves an award! What should this award be called? I don't know.. But he deserves it!
