Too Many Spices Ruins The Taste.

This wasn't the intended entry I was going to write, but this just needs to be discussed..

Here the other day, my cousin and I were driving around. The radio was just murring in the background. He was about to drop me off, when we suddenly hear: "George Lucas has just announced that he wants to make the Star Wars Saga in 3D". We looked at eachother, and we really didn't know how to react first. Shock, horror, anger and anguish. I think we went through all the emotions we have in our register.

We sat with one question on our minds. "WHY?!".

The first edition of the 4-6 trilogy was fine. I was okay with Lucas renewing them in 1997. But the ones that came after, where disappointing. And when the prequels came, I didn't hate the first one. But as soon as Hayden Christensen came on screen, it was painful to watch. The romance between Anakin and Padmé was NOT convincing, it felt forced. But I digress!

I had to research, just to see if it's just a rumour. Apparently, it's not a rumour, but we won't see it until 2012(I guess it IS the end of the world, or a universe rather. The Star Wars Universe). First, we'll see the Saga in Blu-Ray. And George is beginning with Episode 1, which probably is simpler to convert over to 3D. But then my question is this: How on earth is LucasFilms going to convert the original Trilogy to 3D?

And another question I have is: Do we want to see it in 3D?

MY answer is: "NO!!!!". I don't want to see it. I already seen when Han shoots Greedo, and I seen when Greedo shoots at Han. Do I really want to see THAT in 3D? Is it going to look like the viewer being shot? The arm being cut off? The only thing where it MIGHT work, is at the space fights and Hoth.

I'm sighing and shaking my head in disbelief.

GEORGE! You re-touched the original Trilogy two times already! NO MORE!

Are you psyched about Star Wars Saga going 3D? If yes, why? If not, why not? Leave a comment!
